Ultrasound is safe & non invasive mean of imaging INTERNAL ANATOMY & GROSS PATHOLOGY.

  • It is an investigations, so it should be placed after

  • Taking history

  • Detailed Clinical examination

  • Reaching certain provisional diagnosis

  • & then to confirm or rule out certain conditions or disease processes in which you suspect GROSS PATHOLOGICAL CHANGES
